Global value investor David Winters discusses why he believes index funds are more expensive, less diversified and higher risk than commonly believed. He also discusses portfolio holdings Consolidated-Tomoka, Heineken, Elbit Systems, Nestle, Sika, Birchcliff Energy, and British American Tobacco.

In the video above, the contrast between the Fund's expenses and the entire list of securities in the S&P 500 Index are discussed. The 2015 data presented is the most recent available data. The current operating expense ratio for the Fund is listed above. Using the same formula that Wintergreen Advisers used to calculate the "look through expense" of the entire list of securities in the S&P 500 Index, Wintergreen Fund's "look through expense" was calculated to be 1.47% for 2015. 3.17% is the result of combining the Fund's 2015 "look through expense" with the current operating expense ratio of the Fund's Institutional Class.
